Since Bridge Interiors opened in Redwood, Christchurch, New Zealand in 2008, the Furniture and Home décor market has undoubtedly changed and evolved, with fashions coming and going as they have always done. We at Bridge Interiors acknowledge that fact, however our business philosophy has always been that there will always be a place for items that are design classic’s or are the better examples of a particular style which can be incorporated into an Interior space alongside very different and contrasting styles. These specific items of furniture and home décor or lighting are commonly referred to in the trade as “having the X Factor” 

Having branched out to Amberley, North Canterbury in 2021, the Redwood Store was renovated, redecorate and renamed - Bridge Emporium in 2025 (although the Signwriting hasn’t kept up) Together, we hope these two spaces provide a thoughtful blend of New furniture, lighting, mirrors, art and Home décor. In late 2024 antiques were added to the mix along with Vintage prints, nautical memorabilia, collectibles and expanding offering of second-hand non-fiction books.
