This pair of birds are mounted on a branch which sits on a faux rock surrounded by dried grass and tree lichen within a glass case. The case is mounted on a routed oak frame, the back board is white washed with hand painted grass at the base.
The two Kingfishers are of the “Common” variety found in Europe and Asia as distinct from the NZ kingfisher/Kotare variety.
