A mid-century, silk cotton embroidery on cloth, depicting a Peacock and chick on a branch.
This intricate embroidery was produced in Taiwan in the early 1950’s, the embroidered text Is Chinese {Taiwan} and translates as “Jin Ke Brilliance”. “Jin Ke” most likely being the artist who designed the embroidery pattern.
Framed in the 1970’s in a gold frame with glass.
Circa - 1950
Dimensions - 540mm x 390mm
Condition - Very good, faint ripple in cloth in places close to the frame.
