Hand carved from solid matai, this ‘Tiki Totem’ figure is the product of one of the Rotorua Maori Carving workshops and sold as a Souvenir in Rotorua, date unknown but most likely sometime in the 1970’s to the 1980’s. Finished in a medium stain with paua shell eyes and stamped “CARVED IN ROTORUA NEW ZEALAND” on the back.
