Unusual piece of Kiwiana - A solid wooden dish hand painted in a primitive style possibly sold as a souvenir and perhaps in the central North Island. The subject is of course a kiwi with what appears to be the Central Plateau in the background, however it is just as likely the background is contrived in the Artist’s mind.
