The company was founded in 1892 and was responsible for fundamentally changing consumer culture by introducing its revolutionary mail order catalogue. From 1925 Sears.Roebuck began moving into bricks and mortar stores and at the company’s height they operated in 3,000 locations and were the largest Retailer in the World.
