Considered the most comprehensive reference book on Domestic dogs at the time of printing in 1935, the book provides a nostalgic window to the past and the English love of dogs. Copiously illustrated with photos (many retouched by hand), hand coloured plates, sketches and diagrams.
The three volumes are organised alphabetically and Editor claims to have included every known Dog Breed at the time with only one exception that I can identify.

Condition : - Overall Good - Pages clean - rubbing on the covers and watermarks - any foxing generally confined to the several pages in the front or back of each volume - page 807 & 809 Vol 2 have a small amount of scrunching to the bottom R.H, corner of each page.
